United Asphalt Company was established in 1963 manufacturing Roof Cements, Coatings, and Asphalt.  For over 40 years United Asphalt has built a strong reputation in the Commercial Roofing Market with there extensive line of products.

 Since entering the Roofing Industry, United Asphalt has become the most convenient manufacturer on the East Coast.  They have earned this recognition by supplying distributors with Asphalt, Cements & Coatings, Roofing Insulation, Tapered Edge and more.

Due to great formulations and new technologies, United Asphalt has manufactured several superior performance asbestos-free products.  An exceptional reputation has been maintained large in part by United Asphalt’s Roof Cements and Coatings as well as the quality and performance of all products.

Throughout the years, the company has been determined to develop superior products that are important to the roofing contractor.  For example: the ease of spread ability in all four seasons; the excellence of wet and dry surface adhesions and the brilliant reflectance of aluminum coatings.

 United Asphalt also manufactures many products in the tapered roof systems line.  Both Fiberboard and Perlite are available for cant strips, tapered boards and insulation. Their product line also includes a wide variety of Modified Roofing, Felts, Fabric, Mops and many other roofing accessories.

In the last three years, President Mark Umosella has been planning for a successful future. Newly acquired warehouse space in Winston-Salem, NC will help the company better serve the South East. In addition, United Asphalt has consolidated their operation to a new state of the art 17 acre facility in Cedar Brook, NJ.
