Roof Coatings
United Modified Adhesive
A blend of select refined asphalts with modified rubber, long natural fibers and specialty cutbacks. When mixed together, these raw materials produce a smooth, heavy bodied brush consistency type product. United Asphalt Modified Adhesive has excellent bonding characteristics when adhering SBS modified rolled goods. Lap strength far exceeds the minimum required by federal standards.
Del-Val Fibered Roof Coating
A combination of asphalt, penetrating oils and reinforcing fibers that are manufactured to a smooth even flowing consistency. The strength of the fibers helps to eliminate running and sagging when exposed to high temperatures. The penetrating oils provide excellent weathering protection to most roof surfaces.
Del-Val Non-Fibered Roof Coating
A Non-fibered black asphalt coating with penetrates that help rejuvenate badly deteriorating asphalt roofs. Part of this compound soaks into dried out roofing felts, and part of it remains on the surface to provide water/weather protection.
Black Seal Rubberized Roof Coating
A water-repellent coating made from petroleum tars, natural gums, and fibers. Contains oxidized asphalt and rubber agents. Works well in the summer heat and the winter cold. May be used on all aspaltic composition roofs.
United Asphalt Primer
United Asphalt Primer is a light brush consistency paint-like product made from selected high asphalts and petroleumsolvents. It adheres well to a variety of surfaces and dries to the touch in 4 to 24 hours.
United Quick Dry Primer
United Asphalt Quick-Dry Primer is a high solvent paint-like product made from select oxidized asphalts and petroleum distillates. It adheres well to a variety of surfaces and dries to the touch in hours. United Quick-Dry Primer is the obvious choice for roofers when time is of the essence and quality adhesion is a must.
